Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is concerned with the promotion of health and wellbeing through occupation.

We see ‘Occupation’ as anything that occupies and is meaningful to you; not just your job.

Our occupational therapists will achieve desired outcomes through working with people across multiple contexts to develop the necessary skills to engage in activities that are important to them.

This can be done through environmental modification, task adaptation, provision of assistive technology, and rehabilitation and retraining. Where necessary our occupational therapist will link in with other service providers to ensure the clients goals and needs are met, including our Exercise Physiologists at Brain x Body Fitness Studio, our Counsellor, our Parkinson’s Nurse, and other external providers.
