There is currently no cure or no way to slow the progression of Parkinson’s. With 1 Australian diagnosed with Parkinson’s every 40 minutes, it’s crucial that we support research, improve services and build awareness about Parkinson’s in our community.
The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Parkinson’s is proud to provide support and information for people living with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders, along with their carers, family, community and health professionals. But we can’t do this without your fundraising efforts.
By joining the Walk to Fight Parkinson’s, you can have an incredible impact on those in the ACT living with Parkinson’s. One step at a time, we can fight for people with Parkinson’s.
Every dollar you raise from your walk will help people living with Parkinson’s continue to live long and rewarding lives.
Just like you, we at The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Parkinson’s ACT, are committed to helping our community living with Parkinson’s by focusing on wellbeing, your family life, and access to specialists and allied health professionals to ensure they have the support, education and services they need.
One step at a time, we can raise vital funds to support those affected by Parkinson’s in the ACT.
